How to Market Your Atlanta Business Using Twitter

Twitter is one of the most powerful platforms that you can use to grow your business. I have gotten many clients via twitter, and if you are not currently using Twitter as part of your online marketing strategy then you are literally leaving money on the table. Here are a few tips to help you market your business online.

1. Use Twellow. Twellow is a site that is integrated with Twitter, and allows you to find followers based on certain interests and keywords. It is much more in-depth and beneficial than the standard search function on the Twitter home page. "Follow" people who are targeted to your business, this way you will be bringing in fresh leads for the products or services that your provide on a daily basis.

2. Make sure that you do not spam your followers. Twitter is about networking, and if you lose sight of this for even one tweet then you can turn off your followers. I suggest only tweeting about your product or service every 4 or 5 tweets, and when you do so do it "indirectly." One of my marketing strategies is to link to an article that I wrote, which gives my followers valuable information, but also allows me to market to them at the same time!

3. Don't be a random user. Some businesses in Atlanta only tweet once a month, and that just will not cut it! If you really want to see your business grow, then you need to be an active member of the community. As an Atlanta marketing consultant I have seen my business benefit from the power of Twitter, and with the right marketing strategy your business can grow too!

Article Marketing: Flood your Website with Visitors Tomorrow!

Article marketing is one of the most powerful methods anyone can use to drive traffic to a website or blog. The search engines love fresh, unique content. If you are writing articles on a regular basis, and submitting them to your blog as well as popular article syndication websites, then your search engine rankings are going to increase substantially!

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when writing your articles, and as an Atlanta marketing consultant I have used many of these very same tips on my own websites!

1. Create Catchy Titles. You want your titles reflect what you are going to talk about within the article, and do so in a catchy manner! For example, if you are an attorney and writing an article about personal injury lawsuits, a boring title would be "personal injury lawsuits." On the other hand you could write a catchy title that grabs the readers attention. An example of this would be "How to file a personal injury lawsuit and get your settlement now!"

2. Use proper keyword density. Many people try to stuff keyword phrases into their writing, but the search engines pick up on this and label it as keyword stuffing. Ideally you want to use a keyword phrase approximately every 75 words. a 1.5% keyword density is considered ideal, and as an internet marketing consultant in Atlanta I have found this to be true with many of my own clients.

3. Create a call to action. At the end of your articles you want to lead your reader to an action. If you are a personal injury lawyer, then have the person call to schedule a free consultation. Never let someone leave your website or blog without telling them what to do. Subconsciously people like to be told what to do, so take advantage of it.

These are three great tips to get the most out of your article marketing efforts. As an Atlanta marketing consultant I want to help your business stand out, and article marketing is one of the many tools that I recommend my clients use in order to see success!
